Job Summary:

A hybrid role, covering day to day purchase ledger tasks, together with month end management reporting and compliance.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Accounts payable process – job related suppliers – covering Purchase Orders, authorisation, Invoice posting, payments and reconciliations.
• Intercompany reconciliations in Netting system
• Assist in the month end process – Raise general journals to ensure accurate management reporting
• Prepare P&L and B/S for review by Regional Controller
• Calculation and payment of VAT and payroll taxes
• Input of monthly results into reporting package (Cartesis)
• Assist in the preparation of the month end file with assistance from Regional Controller, including bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
• Back up for Accounts Receivable tasks.
• Other adhoc tasks as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4 years accounting experience including preparing accounts up to Trial Balance

Additional Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills. Familiarity with MS Access, Maconomy an advantage
• Good organisational and communication skills, attention to detail. Skilled in developing and following procedures
• Very good English language skills, Dutch is a plus but not essential
