Job Summary:
- Liaise with all Account Directors/ Sales people;
- Liaise with clients;
- Prepare research design, feasibility, cost estimates and proposals;
- Help the Sales Coordinator manage the project feasibility and pricing process via outsourcing company;
- Liaise with operations team whilst projects are in field as appropriate;
- Help ensure the smooth running of financial aspects of the sales processes.
The Sales Administrator will also ensure that Lightspeed Research continually improves their processes and ensure that “learnings” are shared within the team based in Wimbledon and Bulgaria.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Critical responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyzing, recording and managing client requirements in a consistent manner, including recognizing the needs of our clients and addressing them in a consistent fashion – and servicing these clients appropriately;
- Resolving more difficult client complaints/issues by providing information; answering questions; investigating problems; and developing solutions;
- Working on the “medium” and “complex” briefs to ensure that Lightspeed Research adds value to the research design;
- Providing information and/or education to clients around the online research methodology and Lightspeed Research best practices and Research on Research;
- Providing knowledge of Lightspeed Research panel and feasibility / pricing approach to clients and their project managers;
- Prioritizing briefs received from clients and effectively delegating them to the Wimbledon and Bulgarian teams to conduct the feasibility/pricing exercise within the agreed timescale;
- Develop and lead a solution-oriented approach for difficult to field projects by providing alternatives when required;
- Track and communicate outsourcing company metrics. Provide suggestions and solutions to constantly improve quality and turn-around;
- Track and assess pricing and project trends as feedback for efficiency and effectiveness improvements;
- Coordinating with internal functional teams (e.g. Client Operations, Finance) to facilitate the delivery of sales objectives. Assist in the development of processes and procedures necessary to efficiently co-exist;
- Keeping current on all corporate policies, processes and procedures and ensure that all established guidelines and processes are met. Resolve discrepancies to appropriate Account Director. Serve as a focal point for gathering newly published policies and the dissemination of materials;
- Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate;
Minimum Qualifications:
This position requires significant client contact/interface and therefore excellent communication and client service skills are a must. Candidates also need:
- A high level of English (both oral and written) is a must (all positions).
- Other European languages are also an advantage.
- The ability to develop rapport with clients and maintain strong working relationships. Successfully manages client expectations.
- To manage multiple projects and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Be adept with Microsoft: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and the Internet.
- To be good with numbers.
- Working with team to achieve and exceed their sales goals.
- Be a skilled negotiator.
- Have excellent communication (both oral and written), attention to detail and follow-up skills are essential.
- To work productively, have the ability to meet deadlines, and possess strong time management skills.
On-the-job training will be provided.
