LONDON (December 1, 2016) – Lightspeed, leaders in global digital sourcing and data collection, is pleased to announce eight promotions to key management positions in EMEA Operations, including Derek Gibson, who will become Director Operations, France & United Kingdom.

Joining the EMEA Operations leadership team after 11 years within the organization, Gibson will now take over management responsibilities for both the United Kingdom and France operational functions, helping align them with the commercial teams. Gibson will report directly to Andrew Van Wezel, Vice President of Operations.

“These promotions reflect the strength and depth of our team,” stated van Wezel. “Our new reporting structure will enhance our ability to efficiently execute our key strategic objectives and provide our clients with a more efficient and joined up service.”

Further appointments across EMEA Operations include the following key individuals, all reporting to Rob Van Beek, Director Operations NCEE.

  • Michael Werner promoted to Client Operations Manager, Netherlands
  • Margreet Sasburg promoted to Team Leader, MRA
  • Mariana Monroy promoted to Team Leader, Enterprise
  • Björn Ludwig promoted to Team Leader MRA
  • Alban Zinsou promoted to Team Leader Enterprise
  • Andreas Hagn promoted to Team Leader MRA

Additionally, Marcus Chen was promoted to Senior Research Manager, Lightspeed All Global. He reports directly to Angela Pecora, Lightspeed All Global Team Lead.
