Lightspeed announces leadership changes in The Americas

Jennifer Carrea is promoted to CEO Americas and Global Health
As part of its transformation from a panel company into one that plays more seamlessly in the modern digital data space, Lightspeed is pleased to announce that Jennifer Carrea will take over leading its digital data collection specialisms in The Americas, whilst retaining her healthcare responsibilities.
This is effective from 1st August. Former CEO Americas David Shanker is leaving Lightspeed to pursue new opportunities.
Global CEO, Caroline Frankum said “Lightspeed is a brand with a big ambition – we have a key role to play in Kantar’s strategy of building deep profiles of millions of people around the world, and we are now accelerating the evolutionary changes needed to be a modern player in that part of the data space. Since joining Lightspeed to head up our global healthcare business last year, Jennifer has impressed us all with her bold approach to making change for the better and driving double-digit revenue growth. I have no doubt she will build on these strong foundations to extend growth into the consumer business as well. Carrea joined Lightspeed in September 2016 after two years as Group President at Instar Research, where she was responsible for leading strategies on custom-assembled virtual panels and proprietary advanced analytics techniques supporting solutions for testing, tracking and enhancing brand equity. Prior to that she held senior positions at Ipsos and Synovate.
