ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGES STRENGTHEN EMEA LEADERSHIP TEAM AND POSITION LIGHTSPEED FOR LONG-TERM GROWTH

Van Wezel Promoted to Vice President, Operations; Buckley to Lead EMEA Kantar Sales

LONDON (October 17, 2016) – As leaders in global digital sourcing and data collection, Lightspeed today announced key promotional changes within the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, including the appointments of Andrew Van Wezel to Vice President of Operations and Simon Buckley to Vice President of Sales. Both will report to Caroline Frankum, Chief Executive Officer, EMEA and serve as members of the EMEA leadership team.

As Vice President of Operations, EMEA, Van Wezel will lead the region’s operational teams while building and maintaining partnerships to ensure the right people support and tools are in place to execute and deliver high quality sample and added value service.

“Andrew’s impressive business understanding and passion for strengthening the strategic direction of Lightspeed makes him a valuable addition to our leadership team”, states Frankum. “He brings to this new role his years of experience in sampling and research technologies that will enable him to deliver results and innovatively driven operational support. Van Wezel first joined the organization in 2005 and over the last decade has worked to ensure the organization excelled in all areas of research technology, business process engineering and sampling, to deliver quality-driven operational support. Prior to joining Lightspeed, he worked for a consultancy providing programming and data processing services for online car clinics across Europe. Van Wezel holds an Honors Degree in Finance and IT from the University of South Africa and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Rhodes University.

Buckley will manage Lightspeed’s Kantar sales teams across the EMEA region. Prior to joining Lightspeed in 2008 as Vice President of Kantar Client Development, Buckley spent four years at Kantar Operations as an Online Research Consultant.
